Virtuoso watchmakers Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey have unveiled their incredible new creation, the Invention Piece 1 watch. The groundbreaking timepiece features a number of virtuosic horological elements, including an off-centered 30-degree double tourbillon whose cages rotate at different intervals, and an intricate sectoral time display and power reserve indicator. The hand-wound movement, the Greubel Forsey GF 02N caliber, is the result of over four years of dedicated research by the watchmakers, and is protected by a patent.The 43.50mm case is available in platinum, or 18K white or red gold, and features a convex sapphire crystal; the back showcases an intricate bas-relief engraving that tells the fascinating story of the Invention Piece. Water resistance is 30 meters.
